Today was my first day as a patient at Chestnut Hills Dental, and I have to say - this was the best visit to a dentist I've experienced in my life.nnI have had terrible experiences with dentists in the past. Carly, the hygienist, immediately put me at ease. She reassured me, walked me through what to expect during my visit, was a wealth of knowledge, and talked through the feelings of anxiety I had walking in. I was treated like a person - with respect and my long-term health in mind.nnDr. Sarah K Lubiejewski, DDS is top notch. By the time my x-rays and new patient items were complete, she had already created a care plan. She outlined next steps, made everything perfectly clear, and answered all of my questions. I left the exam room feeling happy. Who feels happy at the dentist's office, especially after those feelings of anxiety walking in?nnMike and Belinda at the front desk are phenomenal. Belinda outlined the costs of my care plan, and got me scheduled for follow-ups. Mike answered when I called later in the day, and also worked with me to lock in other dates that fit my schedule. Remarkable customer service on all fronts.nnThis very well may be the best dentist's office in Pittsburgh - it is the best in my opinion. If you have anxiety about the dentist, or if you've had bad experiences in the past, come to Chestnut Hills Dental in Shadyside. I expect to be a patient here for as long as possible, because teams this skilled and adept are few and far between.

I picked this place because it’s close to where I live. At first, it was a little difficult to get an appointment since they seemed very busy. But once I was scheduled, their communication was great. They even guided me through the health insurance process so I could be seen without any issues. They reply to text messages quickly, and everything was always very clear.nThe whole experience and treatment went really well. The staff was kind, welcoming, and very friendly throughout the entire visit. Highly recommend it.

My experiences at this location have always been extremely positive. When I first arrived, I had let Dr Bonsteel, how afraid I was of dental procedures. I was petrified. He is the most patient and extremely experienced dentist that I've ever had. He has put me at such ease that I am not afraid to have the work done that is necessary. Lisa, the technician who does my routine cleanings is excellent as well. She has made me comfortable while she does her job. The receptionists are kind and welcoming.

My overall experience was very good and the dental assistant and dentist were very pleasant and appears to be experienced. The disappointment is that my initial call was for a tooth extraction and the receptionist never advised me that their office doesn't do teeth extraction they refer to another practice for the tooth extraction. Although the X-ray they took and they identified a problem with the tooth in question. Useful information.
