It was my first time, and I had a great experience at Compass Dental Arts from start to finish. The receptionists, Sharina and Mei, were kind and welcoming, which immediately put me at ease.nThe dentist isn’t my favorite place, and I usually have mild anxiety, but the team really made a difference. My dental hygienist, Shelia, was wonderful she made me feel comfortable and explained the entire process, which helped calm my nerves.nDr. Lai was very thorough, examining each tooth and explaining how everything was doing. I especially enjoyed being able to see my teeth on the screen and learn how healthy they are. Overall, such a positive and reassuring experience. I recommend coming here!

Dr. David Lai is an exceptional dentist. He’s incredibly attentive, takes the time to calm your nerves, and makes you feel genuinely cared for before any procedure. His calm, reassuring presence makes a big difference—you immediately know you’re in good hands. I wouldn’t feel comfortable going to anyone else. I trust Dr. Lai and his staff completely.

I started going to Dr. Wu about seven years ago when I moved to San Jose and I've never looked back. The entire staff is so friendly and attentive, and the care that this office shows to their patients is unparalleled. Best dentist I've ever had.nnA couple years ago, I had a crooked front tooth with super short roots that multiple other dentists weren't comfortable treating. Even though this office also provides orthodontia services, Dr. Wu referred me to an orthodontist she knew who could handle my case better and I was finally able to straighten it out without losing the tooth. Really demonstrated to me that she cared more about patient outcome than charging me for the treatment.nnEven though they are no longer in network with my dental insurance, I'd still rather pay out of network for the quality of care that Compass Dental Arts provides.

Dr. Lai was amazing, as always! I have never had had a bad experience thru 6+ years of getting care from Dr. Lai and his staff. All the staff at his office is kind, assertive, organized and friendly. I never fear going to the dentist anymore. Before coming to Dr. Lai, I always had a fear of dentist due to trama in my younger years. Since seeing him, I look forward to my next appointment. Dental pain has been obsolete. Compass Dental Arts is such an amazing company, I highly recommend. Although they are out of network, I will only go to Dr. Lai for my dental care needs! Thank you Dr. Lai and staff for all that you do! And I’ll see you guys soon!
