I had my first upper arch snap and denture procedure last week. The staff was exceptional. Dr. Maturi is absolutely amazing. I would recommend Dr Maturi to anyone dealing with extensive dental issues.

My husband and I have both had such a great experience with Dr. Toritto and the whole team. Everyone is so kind, welcoming, and really takes the time to make us feel comfortable. We always feel well taken care of and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Highly recommend!
Lynda Sanders, May 2026
Dr Maturi is the best dentist I have ever had. He's got the magic touch with shot and has such a calm gentle demeanor. I have had several root canals before I found him and they were awful. Since I've switched to Oswego Commons Family Dental, I don't sweat them all all anymore. I tell everyone I know to switch to Dr Maturi if they need dental work done. Wonderful team here, from the front desk to the entire staff in the back. Love them all and highly recommend!!!

Through out my lifetime, I feared going to the dentist because of the high pitched sound of the drill, the fear of the unknown, and the guilt of poor oral hygiene. Well, nothing has changed with that nasty drill sound, but the practice of dentistry has at Oswego Commons Family Dental with Doctor Nicola Toritto and his friendly team for me. Dr. Toritto has changed my mindset for the better! He is very helpful, thorough, knowledgeable, and professional. But most of all, I never feel like I'm just another one of many patients passing through. He has answered my every question, taken time to explain circumstances and procedures, and has never left me with questions when we finish. He even laughs at my jokes. It is very refreshing to have that personal touch, in this fast paced, automated world we live in today! I no longer fear going to the dentist; like I did going to confession when I was a boy! They just have to work on that, terrorizing drill sound! I highly recommend Dr. Torritto and his team at Oswego Commons Family Dental!nnSteve Nagel

Why You Shouldn’t Wait to Schedule an Emergency Dentist Visit

Delaying dental care can turn a small issue into a serious one. Pain is your body’s way of signaling that something is wrong, and ignoring it often leads to bigger problems, such as infection or tooth loss. Promptly treating an emergency not only protects your health but also helps you avoid more complex and costly procedures in the future.

What should I do if my tooth is knocked out?

Handle it by the crown (not the root), gently rinse it, and keep it moist in milk or saliva. Bring it to your appointment immediately.

How can I relieve a severe toothache until my appointment?

Take an over-the-counter pain reliever and apply a cold compress. Avoid placing aspirin directly on your gums.

Do you accept my dental insurance plan?

What are your hours for emergency appointments?

We offer same-day and extended hours for urgent needs. Contact us to be connected to the right dentist, then contact their office to check availability.

What if my dental emergency happens after hours?

Many emergency dentists offer 24/7 availability or extended hours. If your emergency occurs late at night, check whether an emergency dentist is open nearby, or go to the ER if you have severe pain, swelling, or trauma.

Can you treat a cracked or chipped tooth?

Yes, our dentists can restore or repair damaged teeth to prevent further complications.

Will I need a follow-up appointment?

Some emergencies require additional visits for permanent treatment, such as crowns or root canals.

Do you offer same-day appointments?

How do I get the fastest care?

For the fastest care, call us first, and we’ll connect you with the right dentist in Lemont.
