This is a clean & friendly office that is exceptional. On my first visit to diagnose a problem, Dr. Brett Skillett showed me what the problem was & what is needed to correct it. He was very kind & thorough. The office staff & technicians were kind, friendly & helpful.nThis will be my new dental office. I would recommend it to my family & friends. 👍

I’ve been going to this dental office for years and can’t recommend them highly enough. The entire team is consistently professional, friendly, and attentive, and they make every visit as comfortable as possible. The care is thorough without ever feeling rushed, and they take the time to explain everything clearly so you always know what to expect.

I have bad dental anxiety but Amelia and Dr. Skillet are amazing and helped me to feel very comfortable. I have already recommended this practice to several people and am very fortunate to have found this office. 🙂

I’ve been going here for years. Staff is so sweet, always smiling and helpful. And even after several years or months somehow I’m remembered. I enjoyed the environment so much even after I loss my dental insurance I made sure the next one I got I came right back. Staff even takes the time to explain the importance of certain oral care and give recommendations. I could go on. But definitely a great place for dental care ! 🙂

Why You Shouldn’t Wait to Schedule an Emergency Dentist Visit

Delaying dental care can turn a small issue into a serious one. Pain is your body’s way of signaling that something is wrong, and ignoring it often leads to bigger problems, such as infection or tooth loss. Promptly treating an emergency not only protects your health but also helps you avoid more complex and costly procedures in the future.

How Dental Emergencies Happen in Indian Shores

Life in Indian Shores is defined by the tranquil beauty of the Gulf Coast, whether you are taking a peaceful stroll through the Town Square Nature Park, enjoying the waterfront views at Chief E.D. Williams Park, or visiting the rescued birds at the Seaside Seabird Sanctuary. While this coastal lifestyle is typically relaxing, accidents can happen when you least expect them. A trip on the boardwalk or a mishap during a day at the beach can lead to a painful broken tooth or sudden, throbbing tooth pain. In these moments, having access to local care is vital. You should not have to worry about the added stress of traveling to another city when you are in pain. Having a reliable dental resource right here in your own community ensures you get the help you need without leaving the island.

Severe toothaches, knocked-out teeth, broken or chipped teeth, lost crowns or fillings, abscesses, or swelling that affects your ability to eat, speak, or breathe.

What should I do if my tooth is knocked out?

Handle it by the crown (not the root), gently rinse it, and keep it moist in milk or saliva. Bring it to your appointment immediately.

How can I relieve a severe toothache until my appointment?

Take an over-the-counter pain reliever and apply a cold compress. Avoid placing aspirin directly on your gums.

Do you accept my dental insurance plan?

What are your hours for emergency appointments?

We offer same-day and extended hours for urgent needs. Contact us to be connected to the right dentist, then contact their office to check availability.

What if my dental emergency happens after hours?

Many emergency dentists offer 24/7 availability or extended hours. If your emergency occurs late at night, check whether an emergency dentist is open nearby, or go to the ER if you have severe pain, swelling, or trauma.

Can you treat a cracked or chipped tooth?

Yes, our dentists can restore or repair damaged teeth to prevent further complications.

Will I need a follow-up appointment?

Some emergencies require additional visits for permanent treatment, such as crowns or root canals.

Do you offer same-day appointments?

Yes, our dentists prioritize same-day scheduling whenever possible.

How do I get the fastest care?

For the fastest care, call us first, and we’ll connect you with the right dentist in Indian Shores.
