No one likes the dentist. Dr Steven has been great so far. Im sitting here waiting for my teeth to be removed and he has been both compassionate to my plight and light on my wallet. I had previously gone to summer.... in ames. They charged me 300 for a xray my ins should have paid. Here I got the same xray plus full mouth and consult and treatment plan and 3 teeth out for about 30 bucks more. Ames left me hurting and had no compassion. I can pay it is what it is but come on they took xrays said looks too complicated and kicked me out full price.nAspen has been great they make their prosthesis in house its just a awesome place. They also work comphensivly with pt for tmd if thats a issue for you. Just great care from knowledgeable staff with the compassion such anxiety heavy places require. I appreciate the service and look forward to a long relationship. Will update as tx progresses. Its gona be a wild ridenUpdate. The extractions were awesome. The pain was minimal while there and substantial at home. They gave me 800mg advil lol why bother. For wisdom teeth ok.. anyways they have been great im back for visit 3 of fixing thing other dentist screwed up. Dr yuan is great the hygienist is funny and very good at her job. Ive never been so well numbed.. pricing may be questionable but they actually charged me less than I thought the last 2 times just dont break it down. Well. Here is the thing you got me out of miserable pain who cares the cost. I cant put a price on this pain ending. I appreciate everything 5 stars because thats the max but seriously 10 stars for ending my tooth ache it was a ringer.nLooking forward to these implants looking. Great and giving me back my confidence.nnMable the technician went to great care to alleviate my anxiety. She is the best.

I was so pleasantly impressed from initial contact to the end of my appointment! I was greeted promptly and more importantly with kindness. It only got better. My tech Mabel , listened to all my concerns, stepped in and handled the problems, along with the front office. Shout out to them!! My dentist was professional, really studied my situation to make a knowledgeable game plan. That I understand. I wasn't coerced, pushed, or belittled. This was a world's apart from a previous experience at a different clinic. I whole heartedly recommend Aspen dental of Ankeny!!

Deepa is truly amazing. She is kind and makes sure you are comfortable and not in any pain. I would not go anywhere else or want anyone else. Ask for her as your hygienist. Truly 10 stars!!!!
