I scheduled a tooth extraction in NY and had to fly to FL unexpectedly so I decided to have the extraction done at an Aspen Dental in The Villages. I was assuming that I would get the same level of care. I only needed an extraction due to tooth pain. After a 3 hour appointment, the staff refused to do the extraction unless I also agreed to additional services. They gave me a estimate over $7K. When I refused all of the additional services that they wanted to add, they told me that I had to get over $2K worth of work or they would not do the extraction. Needless to say, I left there in pain and got no work done. When I returned to New York, I went to the Aspen Dental in Oswego, NY and walked out an hour and a half later with my tooth extracted and a bill under $200 which I happily paid. The FL location told me that I needed a 2nd tooth extracted (at $1200 per tooth) and the NY location was dumbfounded after looking at my x-rays as to why they would make this recommendation because the 2nd tooth was perfectly fine. The Villages is an elderly community and I strongly feel that this location is taking advantage of the elderly and an investigation needs to be opened.

I am sooo amazed and pleased with my visit yesterday! I had a emergency walk in visit without insurance (they didn’t accept mine) I got X-rays, talked to the dentist, got approved for care credit which covered my bill and I had no down payment. After being accepted I got my broken almost impossible (referred to oral surgeon) tooth removed!! Today I am sore and it’s expected but I am soo very grateful for Tony and his staff!!
