Dr. Barnes and his staff are absolutely wonderful! The doctor is very communicative and takes the time to explain everything in as much or as little detail as you’d like. He really listens and considers how you feel about dentists, which makes a huge difference if you’ve ever had a bad experience in the past. I highly recommend giving him a chance!nnThe staff are all so kind and sweet—very welcoming the moment you walk in. They make the whole experience feel comfortable and reassuring. Truly an excellent dental office!

I hate going to the Dentist! However after my first appointment with Dr Barnes when he first opened I have no unpleasant issues at all. The entire Staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Most of all no pain like the old time pulley system drills from the 50’s that I first experienced as a young child. Alls great with Dr Barnes and the staff.

Dr. Barnes is amazing! He really listens and works with you to create a treatment plan that makes sense. He takes the time to explain everything thoroughly, which makes you feel confident and informed. Ashley, the dental hygienist, is wonderful too—she walked me through the cleaning process and helped ease my anxiety. I feel so comfortable and cared for every time I visit. Professional yet very personable. Very focused on making patients comfortable, and very thorough on explaining treatments suggested. Went in for cleaning and consultation. Going back to have chipped tooth repaired. Have had anxieties in past, but the hygienist and dentist both helped me relax. Excellent staff and dental hygienist, and terrific dentist! Best dental visit experience ever!

Dr. Tiller established his dental practice in Murrells Inlet after receiving his D.M.D. from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1998. His primary goal is to provide care that allows patients to enjoy optimum oral health. This is achieved through comfortable dental treatment & regular checkups to maintain a healthy dentition.
The doctor has maintained & enhanced his proficiency by taking annual continuing education courses certified by the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). These have focused primarily on aesthetic dentistry & complex dental rehabilitation. Dr. Tiller is a member of the American Dental Association, South Carolina Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry & the Grand Strand Dental Society. His participation in these organizations is vital to keeping his practice current with new procedures & technologies.
