Dr. Holthaus and the other professional staff always take the best care with their patients! They explain the process as they go and make you feel informed and relaxed. I’d highly recommend!

I knew I had broken off part of a tooth, and I was right. I have allergies to so many of the new dental glues and temporary crowns, and they worked very hard to find something that would work for me. It took some doing, but they managed. They also know not to have any acrylic lining in the permanent crown. I have every confidence that I will not be affected by any allergies because they have been so careful.

First you should have the context that I loathe going to the dentist, heretofore without exception. Then you will begin to understand how mind-boggling it is that I love Dr. Holthaus so much I kind of want to dentistnap him and keep him. The hygienist was out sick so he actually did my cleaning. As a result I had enough time with him to be sure that I wasn't imagining things: he really does have the mythical trifecta of being flawlessly skillful, perfectly gentle, and effortlessly able to put people at ease. He talked to me just enough to distract me well from the task at hand without ever making it weird that I could mostly only grunt in response. I don't know how this person is old enough to have a doctorate, let alone old enough to be this good at his job, but he's hired. If I ever move away from Minneapolis I will have to fly back every six months for dentist appointments.
