I switched to Tracerse Miuntain dental because I felt my other provider was being a little sketchy on billing. I did not get that impression at TMD. The service was great, they explained everything thoroughly and didn’t promise any pricing for needed work and took care of pre approval paperwork. So far, my experience is wonderful! My daughter worked next door at the irtho office and she recommended them because she felt they were honest and fair as she interacted with them.

I recommend Traverse Mountain Family Dental for 4 reasons: 1) They are prompt. I arrived exactly at my appointed time and was taken in less than 60 seconds later. Each stage of the appointment proceeded with minimal delays. They told me it would be in total about an hour, and it was 54 minutes long. 2) Clear and easy communication. They communicated clearly with me about expectations and timing all along the way, and asked me my preferences in everything they could. When I asked questions, they were quick with reasonable and satisfactory answers. I learned a lot, which doesn’t usually happen. 3) They are friendly. The hygienist Olivia took the time to get to know me with quality conversation. As did the dentist. I was easily comfortable in talking with both of them, and it was genuinely fun for me. That’s not always easy to do. 4) Professional service. The x-rays, cleaning, and dental exam were efficient and high quality. I walk away from the experience feeling that my oral health is in good hands. As this was my first appointment, I look forward to the next one and being able to see if the quality of service continues with consistency. The real kicker will be the experience I have when I need a cavity filled, but based on today, I’m confident it will measure up.

Since I began going to Traverse Mountain Family Dental for my routine cleaning appointments, I've always been treated so well by them. Very friendly, very informative, never pushy, and very understanding. The individuals there that have done my cleanings have been careful and courteous, and I am so appreciative of it! This is the best service I have ever received at a dental office, and I have been to more than I would care to! They give good care, and are honest. I was able to ask many questions and the dentist took time to answer each one carefully. The whole process was seamless overall with excellent interactions at each point from check-in to cleaning to the dentist checkup, all the way to checkout. Highly recommend.

Can't sing the praises of Traverse Mountain Family Dental enough...and Dr Spilsbury is AWESOME! I've been a patient for a few years now and am extremely happy. Beautiful office, high tech equipment for great dental outcomes, amazing dental techs and front desk staff and fabulously competent dentists. I've had routine cleanings, a cavity filled and most recently a single implant after breaking a tooth beyond salvageability. It was a long process but Dr Spilsbury was so present through it all and was never handed over to a colleague. They also provide full sedation services which i took advantage of in getting my implant. If you need a new dentist please give them a try...you will not regret it!
