Dr Chaves and his staff are exceptional. I have been a patient for ten years. I had to take care of some family issues outside of California and missed several appointments and consequently my teeth needed care. At no point did any of the hygienists or Dr Chaves make me feel like I was negligent, but instead just focused on getting me back on track. Dr Chaves is so experienced and kind and surrounds himself with a great team. Absolutely exceptional!

This was the best experience I have ever had with a dental hygienist in my entire life.nnI am 59 years old and I have struggled with my teeth and gums for as long as I can remember, so dental visits have not always been the easiest experience for me. Irene was completely different from any hygienist I have ever seen.nnI had a very extensive scaling and root planing (deep cleaning) procedure. It is typically done in two separate appointments, but I chose to do the entire thing in one visit, which ended up being about four hours. Thankfully nitrous was included because of the length of the appointment, which made the entire experience much more comfortable.nnIrene was incredibly gentle, kind, and thoughtful the entire time. She checked in with me throughout the procedure and made sure I was comfortable. For such a long and intensive treatment, I honestly could not have asked for a better experience.nnWhat really stood out was how much she genuinely cared about setting me up for success going forward. She did not just clean my teeth and send me out the door. She walked me through a very specific routine I can follow at home. She showed me where I personally get the most buildup, how to focus on the inside bottom teeth first when brushing, and how to work my way through my mouth more effectively.nnShe also recommended tools and products that are already helping me, including a specific Waterpik attachment and MI Paste Plus. For the first time, I actually feel like I have a clear morning and evening routine that will help me stay on top of my dental health.nnI honestly never thought I would be writing a glowing review about a dental office or a hygienist, but Irene absolutely deserves it. I left feeling encouraged instead of discouraged, and that means a lot when you have dealt with lifelong dental challenges.nnI am incredibly grateful for her care, patience, and expertise.

I have been coming to Dr. Chaves for about 2 years now to get my smile back and he and the staff have been AMAZING! Today 11/5/25 I got it back and I am in tears. Dr. Chaves you just changed my life. Thank you to you and your amazing staff for making my journey painless and making me feel like family.

Dr. Chaves has been my family dentist for over 12 years! I couldn't be happier with him and the practice, and recommend him to all my friends and family. Prices are fair, employees are wonderful, and I always feel welcome in the office. 10/10
