If every doctor was like Dr. Rizvi, nobody would ever be scared to go to the dentist. Professional all around and very good at what he does, including making you feel comfortable.

My family and I have been a patient with Parkway for several years now. Yesterday’s visit I had with them really showed me how they go above and beyond. My family and I are moving to Rio Vista and so I searched out another dentist in that area to have close to us. That dentist was the worst experience I have ever had with a dentist. He was aggressive in his approach and his manner made me doubt myself in wanting to hold out on any procedures until after we had moved. When I didn’t want to start any work, just wanted an assessment, he stated that I must have a lot of trauma and fear from past dentists, (which I do not) but he assured me at how great he is and that I would feel better once leaving his office. Anytime I would ask a question he seemed to become frustrated with me and said “you ask a lot of questions”. I had been having a headache, neck ache and pain in my jaw, he discovered I needed 2 root canals. He said he would remove the decay, inject meds and put temporary fillings in. I asked him for antibiotics because in the past I have needed it to help get rid of the infection, he said antibiotics would be of no help and wouldn’t prescribe them. I reluctantly agreed to start the procedure. The injections to numb me were the most painful I’ve ever had and he was quick with the procedure. He sent me on my way stating I would feel so much better now. Later that day and for the rest of the week following, my pain was constant still but also continued to increase more and more everyday, felt like my nerves were exposed and the gums were inflamed, I was feeling so unwell overall. I reached out to Parkway and they offered to take me that same day. They were empathetic to my situation and moved appointments around just to fit me in. They are able to do root canals but due to my condition of some of roots they deemed it best to send me to the Endodontist right across from them. I called their office and they agreed to take me right away, it was 4pm and they close at 5pm. Dr Hornberger looked me over and my images and offered to take care of me right then and there. He was amazing! He was very gentle, very calming in his approach and let me know what he was doing with each step. I never thought I would enjoy a root canal but he made me so comfortable and relaxed that my discomfort was minimal throughout the procedure. I’m so grateful for Parkway and for being so accommodating and patient with this ordeal I was bringing to them but they steered me in the right direction and this morning I’m pain free! Even when we move I will remain with them because of the high standard of care they provide! Thank you Parkway for all you do!

She will break down the cost of the entire service, set up an action plan to how and when each service should be treated, and they even provide services for children!nnI would highly recommend Parkway dental care!
