I’ve been with Dr. Contreras for over two years now. He is taking care of my Invisalign and has been very supportive throughout the process. His dental assistant Natalie has supported my care and has been the absolute best - she is very kind, gentle, caring, and communicates well with the doctor regarding my care. Hannah at the front desk and the rest of the team treat me like family and always help coordinate my appointments. My hygienist Jaime is very thorough, professional, knowledgeable and gentle. She explained what needed to be taken care of and even showed me in the x-rays. I was very impressed with the care and compassion she provided me with when I needed treatment on back to back days. Together with Hannah, she coordinated my appointments and care seamlessly. Regarding the doctor - I appreciate him so much. Dr. Contreras listens, asks for feedback and explains things clearly. He answers my questions from his perspective, experience, and knowledge as a dentist. Dr. Contreras is always prepared when he comes into the room knowing about the reason for my visit. His entire staff is very professional, on time, collaborative, communicative and friendly. The office is extremely clean and they use up to date technology and treatments. I have noticed that Dr. Contreras gets his staff involved in learning opportunities, which shows his care for staying up to date in the industry. I highly recommend this practice!

I had a great experience at Weeki Wachee Dental! The entire office was welcoming and professional, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Jamie, the dental hygienist, was absolutely amazing, so kind, gentle, and thorough. She took the time to explain everything, made sure I was comfortable, and truly made the visit stress-free. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients. I highly recommend Weeki Wachee Dental, especially if you’re lucky enough to have Jamie as your hygienist!

This was my initial appointment to establish as a new patient. I was a bit anxious, as I'd seen the same dentist in another county for almost twenty years.nnI was more than satisfied and quite impressed with the clinical care that I received, from start to finish. The exam, including imaging, was quite thorough. I appreciated the spent with me. The oral health education, brushing/flossing suggestions, cleaning and the final exam by the dentist was all top notch. I am looking forward to continuing this new relationship and improving my overall oral health.

Overall, my experience with this office has been great. The staff are always polite, helpful, and knowledgeable. However, I’ve recently noticed some issues with scheduling and communication.nnMy first issue was that I had an ortho appointment that was canceled because they hadn’t received my trays, without any notification. It turned out my updated contact information hadn’t been entered into their system after my previous visit, despite providing it on my forms. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and assumed it was just a simple mistake despite driving 25 minutes for my appointment to be told it was cancelled.nnUnfortunately, during my most recent visit, the same issue happened again. I had an appointment scheduled - I called to reschedule it because I was unable to make it. The day of the newly scheduled appointments, I received multiple conflicting emails about my appointment time — originally scheduled for 11 and 12, but whomever entered the appointment time changed to 10 and 11 and didn’t notify me. When I called to clarify, I was told my appointment hadn’t been confirmed because they couldn’t reach me (again, due to my contact info not being updated) and that my time slot had been given to someone else. They said they could see me at 9:30 instead. I was ultimately seen from 9:30 to 12 for a cleaning and ortho visit.nnThe staff and doctor were, as always, very kind and professional, and I’m happy with the quality of care. I just hope the office can address these scheduling and communication issues, as it seems I’m not the only one this has happened to - according to reception.
