As a person with anxiety of the dentist from a child through adulthood. I have never felt confident or comfortable going and sitting in a dentist chair. When I visited Aspen of Niskayuna I was hopeful, I had a tooth issue and was easily fitted in and seen. I have never went to an office where I had such a positive experience from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. Walking in I’m immediately greeted and check in is nice and easy. The front staff from talking on the phone to seeing in person have alway treated me so wonderfully and they are so kind. I have been dealing with many issues one after another so I have been in and out of this office for months. At this point they feel like family. I can talk about any concerns I have to even joking and laughing with everyone. The medical staff that is Dr. Jorge Ruiz and Dr. Park and their team, have been a dream. I only saw Dr Park a couple times but he was detailed and included me in on everything. Setting myself at ease. Dr. Jorge Ruiz and his assistants have truly helped me get over my anxiety and fears of being in a dentist chair. I will sing praises about him, he treats me as a human, not just a account number. He talked through everything with me and answers all questions. His attention to details and making sure I am comfortable and happy with the process to even playing music in the room to make me feel more at ease. These are the touches I wish I had all my life, I’m so happy I have him and his team now. I won’t ever go anywhere else, unless he does. I will totally follow. His confidence and professionalism with a touch of humanity. He is absolutely incredible. I will highly recommend this office. I think what people need to keep in mind yes it’s a chain but you do get the highest level of care, I say better than most private practices. Insurance and corporate America is real but keep in mind there are good doctors and they do great work. They are also fighting insurance so have a little understanding when it comes to finances as hard as it truly is in the country. If anything as a take a way you are your own healthcare advocate so speak up and ask the questions. They will answer them, don’t always expect you will get a handout every time you leave the office. As upfront they will give you anything you need, they did for myself at least. Keep up the amazing work Aspen team!

i went for a new patient appointment today which was only x rays and exam. the staff was friendly, the dentist i saw took his time and made me feel like i was in good care. i also really liked that they have 3-d imaging technology! my experience today was positive and i am less scared to back to the dentist!

My experience at Aspen Dental in Niskayuna has been the best. I went in as a very scared person and I wouldn’t even sit in their chair to going in on my own. They have been the most caring group of individuals I have ever experienced. I have never ever had a great experience with dentist until now. Thank you to all of the staff, my surgeon and the other doctor there. I am forever grateful.

I have been going to Aspen Dental for a couple years now maybe a little more. The service is great, if you have any questions they are more than happy to help you. The staff are always nice and professional. I’ve had my partials done here by Dr. Jorge Ruiz Lourido and he did an awesome job on my dental work. I definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a dentist.

The receptionist gave me a courtesy call to ensure my clearance from my doctor had arrived before I wasted my time appearing for my appointment . The young lady helped me finagle my billing to my comfort to get done what I needed done now according to what I could afford. They offered me cleaning TODAY, which was supposed to be booked months out because they had a cancellation. Like, they bended to my beck and call. Exceptional customer service .
