Great experience overall. Very friendly staff. They take the time to explain in detail any questions you may have regarding their services and costs. They are highly organized, efficient, and kind. My visits have been less stressful and more comfortable than I ever could have imagined. Keep up the good work everyone at San Tan Mountain Dental! I appreciate you all.
Donald Stuart, Jun 2026
Had an emergency extraction that had been excruciating for days, they were able to take me in as a new patient the day of me calling. Finances aren't great but they were able to work with me to fit what I can afford and on top of that the staff truly cares. I felt like I mattered and every individual from the waiting room to the hygienist, the dental assistants and the Dr was truly kind and wanted to help. I'm now going to continue a regiment with them not only because they took care of me but their level of care was beyond what I expected. Thank you for helping me be pain free!

Why You Shouldn’t Wait to Schedule an Emergency Dentist Visit

Delaying dental care can turn a small issue into a serious one. Pain is your body’s way of signaling that something is wrong, and ignoring it often leads to bigger problems, such as infection or tooth loss. Promptly treating an emergency not only protects your health but also helps you avoid more complex and costly procedures in the future.

How Dental Emergencies Happen in Apache Junction

Life in Apache Junction is defined by the rugged beauty of the Superstition Mountains and the adventurous spirit of the Sonoran Desert. Whether you are exploring the scenic trails at Lost Dutchman State Park, enjoying a family picnic at Flatiron Community Park, or catching a sunset view from Prospector Park, an active lifestyle is part of our local charm. However, the unexpected can happen during a weekend hike or a local community event. A sudden fall or a sports injury can quickly turn into a broken tooth or throbbing tooth pain that requires immediate attention. When these moments occur, having access to local care means you can get the relief you need right here at home without the added stress of traveling to another city while in discomfort.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is considered a dental emergency?

Severe toothaches, knocked-out teeth, broken or chipped teeth, lost crowns or fillings, abscesses, or swelling that affects your ability to eat, speak, or breathe.

What should I do if my tooth is knocked out?

Handle it by the crown (not the root), gently rinse it, and keep it moist in milk or saliva. Bring it to your appointment immediately.

How can I relieve a severe toothache until my appointment?

Take an over-the-counter pain reliever and apply a cold compress. Avoid placing aspirin directly on your gums.

Do you accept my dental insurance plan?

Most insurance plans are accepted. Call ahead to confirm coverage and benefits.

What are your hours for emergency appointments?

We offer same-day and extended hours for urgent needs. Contact us to be connected to the right dentist, then contact their office to check availability.

What if my dental emergency happens after hours?

Many emergency dentists offer 24/7 availability or extended hours. If your emergency occurs late at night, check whether an emergency dentist is open nearby, or go to the ER if you have severe pain, swelling, or trauma.

Can you treat a cracked or chipped tooth?

Yes, our dentists can restore or repair damaged teeth to prevent further complications.

Will I need a follow-up appointment?

Some emergencies require additional visits for permanent treatment, such as crowns or root canals.

Do you offer same-day appointments?

Yes, our dentists prioritize same-day scheduling whenever possible.

How do I get the fastest care?

For the fastest care, call us first, and we’ll connect you with the right dentist in Apache Junction.

What happens if I lose a crown or filling?

Bring the crown or filling with you if possible. We’ll repair or replace it to restore your bite and comfort.
