Another clean bill of health at Countryside Dental!nnThe office is clean, it has a nice parking lot that's easy to get in and out of, and the staff are very helpful when checking in or answering questions. I've gone twice so far and this has been the only one that gets in there and makes my teeth clean and shiny without leaving my gums bloody or sore.nnCheck-ins and uploading information can be done online which is a huge help for busy people who don't normally have time to make phone calls to check availability. All in all I've had a great experience and I'll see everyone again at November!

Very kind, thorough, and patient, both the hygienist and the doctor. The hygienist would prioritize my teeth cleaning over her work schedule, and the doctor always took the time to understand the patients' concerns. It always surprised me, that even though I only showed up every 6 months, she remembered everything from our last conversation.

I’m an orthodontist who needed a dentist, and this is where I will always go. Dr. Shahbandar is kind, professional, & clinically exceptional. Hygienist is amazing. Front desk is responsive and communicative. Why would anyone go anywhere else?

Dr Leila always takes the time to explain the work she’s going to perform, takes extra care to ensure your comfortable, even changing the drill head to a quieter head.nProfessional, kind, thoughtful, and though.
Dan Sanchez, May 2026
Dr Leila and her staff are very thorough, conscientious and caring. I am very comfortable to have found a dental practice that’s built on more than fast cash.

Why You Shouldn’t Wait to Schedule an Emergency Dentist Visit

Delaying dental care can turn a small issue into a serious one. Pain is your body’s way of signaling that something is wrong, and ignoring it often leads to bigger problems, such as infection or tooth loss. Promptly treating an emergency not only protects your health but also helps you avoid more complex and costly procedures in the future.

How Dental Emergencies Happen in Garfield Ridge

Life in Garfield Ridge is centered on a strong community spirit and enjoying local anchors, whether you are spending time outdoors at the beautiful Wentworth Park or Vittum Park. A slip during a game at the park or a sudden accident while out in the neighborhood can result in a broken tooth or severe tooth pain. What is considered a dental emergency?

Severe toothaches, knocked-out teeth, broken or chipped teeth, lost crowns or fillings, abscesses, or swelling that affects your ability to eat, speak, or breathe.

What should I do if my tooth is knocked out?

Handle it by the crown (not the root), gently rinse it, and keep it moist in milk or saliva. Bring it to your appointment immediately.

How can I relieve a severe toothache until my appointment?

Take an over-the-counter pain reliever and apply a cold compress. Avoid placing aspirin directly on your gums.

Do you accept my dental insurance plan?

Most insurance plans are accepted. Call ahead to confirm coverage and benefits.

What are your hours for emergency appointments?

We offer same-day and extended hours for urgent needs. Contact us to be connected to the right dentist, then contact their office to check availability.

What if my dental emergency happens after hours?

Many emergency dentists offer 24/7 availability or extended hours. If your emergency occurs late at night, check whether an emergency dentist is open nearby, or go to the ER if you have severe pain, swelling, or trauma.

Can you treat a cracked or chipped tooth?

Yes, our dentists can restore or repair damaged teeth to prevent further complications.

Will I need a follow-up appointment?

Some emergencies require additional visits for permanent treatment, such as crowns or root canals.

Do you offer same-day appointments?

Yes, our dentists prioritize same-day scheduling whenever possible.

How do I get the fastest care?

For the fastest care, call us first, and we’ll connect you with the right dentist in Garfield Ridge.

What happens if I lose a crown or filling?

Bring the crown or filling with you if possible. We’ll repair or replace it to restore your bite and comfort.
