I took my 86-year-old dad to Aspen Dental todat because he needed his dentures realigned, and we had a wonderful experience from start to finish.nnThe front desk staff was absolutely amazing. They were kind, patient, and really listened to us. Everyone was extremely informative and kept us updated throughout the entire process. The dentist was great as well. He clearly knew what he was doing, explained our options, and took the time to make sure we understood everything.nnWe were there for over two hours because there was quite a bit of work that needed to be done, but what really impressed me was how comfortable and well cared for my dad felt. He is usually very difficult to please and doesn't have much patience, but he left happy and very satisfied with the care he received. That says a lot!nnThe waiting room was comfortable, and everyone treated my dad with kindness and respect. We will be returning in two weeks to have his full dentures made, and I'm looking forward to continuing with them.nnThank you to the entire Aspen Dental team for making what could have been a stressful experience such a positive one.nnI’ll update this review after our next visit if there is anything additional to share, but so far, we couldn't be happier with our experience.

The doctor and all of the staff were wonderful, and always answered my questions truthfully and lead us through the whole process without any doubts. My dad gets so many compliments on his new dentures. I will be recommending this place to everyone!

Why You Shouldn’t Wait to Schedule an Emergency Dentist Visit

Delaying dental care can turn a small issue into a serious one. Promptly treating an emergency not only protects your health but also helps you avoid more complex and costly procedures in the future.

How Dental Emergencies Happen in Glen Ellyn

Life in Glen Ellyn revolves around a charming, active community where residents spend their time enjoying a walk around the beautiful Lake Ellyn Park, exploring the nature trails at Churchill Woods Forest Preserve, or meeting friends for coffee in the historic downtown area. A slip while jogging on the Illinois Prairie Path, a sports mishap during a game at Ackerman Sports and Fitness Center, or a simple fall can result in a broken tooth or severe tooth pain. When a crisis like this strikes, you need immediate, reliable care right here. The last thing you should face is the stress of traveling to another city when you need local help most.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is considered a dental emergency?

Severe toothaches, knocked-out teeth, broken or chipped teeth, lost crowns or fillings, abscesses, or swelling that affects your ability to eat, speak, or breathe.

What should I do if my tooth is knocked out?

Handle it by the crown (not the root), gently rinse it, and keep it moist in milk or saliva. Bring it to your appointment immediately.

How can I relieve a severe toothache until my appointment?

Take an over-the-counter pain reliever and apply a cold compress. Avoid placing aspirin directly on your gums.

Do you accept my dental insurance plan?

Most insurance plans are accepted. Call ahead to confirm coverage and benefits.

What are your hours for emergency appointments?

We offer same-day and extended hours for urgent needs. Contact us to be connected to the right dentist, then contact their office to check availability.

What if my dental emergency happens after hours?

Many emergency dentists offer 24/7 availability or extended hours. If your emergency occurs late at night, check whether an emergency dentist is open nearby, or go to the ER if you have severe pain, swelling, or trauma.

Can you treat a cracked or chipped tooth?

Yes, our dentists can restore or repair damaged teeth to prevent further complications.

Will I need a follow-up appointment?

Some emergencies require additional visits for permanent treatment, such as crowns or root canals.

Do you offer same-day appointments?

Yes, our dentists prioritize same-day scheduling whenever possible.

How do I get the fastest care?

For the fastest care, call us first, and we’ll connect you with the right dentist in Glen Ellyn.

What happens if I lose a crown or filling?

Bring the crown or filling with you if possible. We’ll repair or replace it to restore your bite and comfort.
