I needed some major work done (7 crowns) and Dr. Tony and Shannon were wonderful - painless, efficient, and, most of all, friendly. They put me at ease and the work was excellent. In fact, the entire office staff is superb.

Doctor Sarah and Nelli are amazing! I have a very complicated tooth and extraction and they were very kind, patient, always checking up on me and making sure I am comfortable and ok. The front office staff are a blessing, they help me so much when I was concern about payments. I cannot recommend their office enough. Last time I saw saw Dr. Kim which is phenomenal as well, took care of me and gave a plan to help me take care of my dental health. They are all a blessing to me.

Best experience at West Coast Dental! I recently got a root canal and temporary crown. Joanne was who made the temporary crown and made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole procedure. She made jokes to ease my stress which helped. The next day I accidentally brushed my teeth a bit too rough and my temporary crown cane out of place. I came in today to get it re-cemented. Shannon helped me with that and made sure I was comfortable. Joanne recognized me and she also offered if she could help in any way which just showed me how welcoming it is here. Shannon and Joanne are awesome !!

What to Expect During Your Emergency Visit in Orange

Personalized treatment plan explained and approved before care.

Immediate procedures relieve pain and stabilize oral health quickly.

Why You Shouldn’t Wait to Schedule an Emergency Dentist Visit

Delaying dental care can turn a small issue into a serious one. Pain is your body’s way of signaling that something is wrong, and ignoring it often leads to bigger problems, such as infection or tooth loss. Promptly treating an emergency not only protects your health but also helps you avoid more complex and costly procedures in the future.

How Dental Emergencies Happen in Orange

Life in Orange is defined by its historic charm and active community spirit. You might spend a morning exploring the antique shops and restaurants in Old Towne Orange, enjoying a family picnic by the lake at Eisenhower Park, or hiking the scenic trails of Santiago Oaks Regional Park. This vibrant lifestyle, however, carries the risk of sudden accidents. A slip on a historic sidewalk, an unexpected impact during an outdoor adventure, or a fall during a local community event can instantly result in a broken tooth or severe tooth pain. When a crisis like this strikes, the last thing you should face is the stress of traveling to another city for help. Local care means getting immediate, reliable relief right here in your own community.

Severe toothaches, knocked-out teeth, broken or chipped teeth, lost crowns or fillings, abscesses, or swelling that affects your ability to eat, speak, or breathe.

What should I do if my tooth is knocked out?

Handle it by the crown (not the root), gently rinse it, and keep it moist in milk or saliva. Bring it to your appointment immediately.

How can I relieve a severe toothache until my appointment?

Take an over-the-counter pain reliever and apply a cold compress. Avoid placing aspirin directly on your gums.

Do you accept my dental insurance plan?

Most insurance plans are accepted. Call ahead to confirm coverage and benefits.

What are your hours for emergency appointments?

We offer same-day and extended hours for urgent needs. Contact us to be connected to the right dentist, then contact their office to check availability.

What if my dental emergency happens after hours?

Many emergency dentists offer 24/7 availability or extended hours. If your emergency occurs late at night, check whether an emergency dentist is open nearby, or go to the ER if you have severe pain, swelling, or trauma.

Can you treat a cracked or chipped tooth?

Yes, our dentists can restore or repair damaged teeth to prevent further complications.

Will I need a follow-up appointment?

Some emergencies require additional visits for permanent treatment, such as crowns or root canals.

Do you offer same-day appointments?

Yes, our dentists prioritize same-day scheduling whenever possible.

How do I get the fastest care?

For the fastest care, call us first, and we’ll connect you with the right dentist in Orange.
