From the moment I walked in, the front office staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They were also very knowledgeable about my insurance, which made the whole check-in process easy and completely stress-free something I truly appreciate as a busy mom.nnMy care team, Dr. Kurt Montoya and his assistant Maria, took such great care of me. I came in for a cavity filling along with my periodontal maintenance cleaning, and everything was explained clearly so I felt comfortable the entire time. Dr. Montoya was amazing when it came to numbing—I barely felt a thing, which made a huge difference for me. The procedure itself was painless and very efficient, which I really appreciated with my schedule.nnI left feeling really well taken care of and confident in the care I received. I’m very pleased with the service at Gentle Dental and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a caring, professional, and efficient dental office.

I had my dental checkup at Gentle Dental in Rancho Cucamonga on Foothill Blvd yesterday and just wanted to say how impressed I was with the friendliness and care of the office staff and the thoroughness of the dentist!nFrom xrays, to exam, to cleaning, I was treated with respect and kindness from both the dentist and the assistant. The dentist found a couple of things to keep an eye on and made recommendations for treatment, so I will definitely be coming back to get that taken care of and will be keeping my regular dental care with this dentistnI definitely recommend him and this dental office.nnUPDATE: So I went back to get the fillings, and again encountered excellent, considerate services! The doctor made sure I was comfortable and sufficiently numb - which was good! He also took the time to make sure my bite was good afterwards. The dentist, Dr Montya, did an excellent job!

First time patient for my son. DDS KURT, is amazing! He explained everything regarding my son’s dental health. He educated me- which I value in customer service care. I highly recommend any person to come here and receive honest service and review for one’s dental health journey!

This afternoon my crown came off and I called to see if I would be able to see the doctor today or tomorrow. The young man in the scheduling office took down my information and right away had an appointment for this same afternoon. I was so thankful for the quick appointment, and the way that he was able to help me with it so fast.nThen I went into the office and one hour later I was on my way home. They had my x-rays done, teeth cleaned, and the crown glued back down within that hour.nThank you to the staff all the way around!nThe LORD bless you as you help the public with your smiles, your touch and the way that you serve.nThank you Sandra🤩

We had such a great experience here for both myself and my daughter, Sydnee. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, kind, and gentle. The dentist was amazing and his assistant was just as wonderful. They made us feel comfortable, explained everything clearly, and truly cared. Everything about this place was a great experience. Highly recommend.

Why You Shouldn’t Wait to Schedule an Emergency Dentist Visit

Delaying dental care can turn a small issue into a serious one. Pain is your body’s way of signaling that something is wrong, and ignoring it often leads to bigger problems, such as infection or tooth loss. Promptly treating an emergency not only protects your health but also helps you avoid more complex and costly procedures in the future.

How Dental Emergencies Happen in Pomona

Life in Pomona is a rich tapestry of history and community activity. You might spend a sunny afternoon exploring the expansive greenery and picnic spots at Ganesha Park, taking a step back into California’s rancho era at the Adobe de Palomares, or catching a thrilling event at the Fairplex. However, an active lifestyle in the heart of the Pomona Valley can lead to the unexpected. A sudden fall during a game at Palomares Park or a mishap while exploring the local trails can result in a broken tooth or severe tooth pain. When a dental crisis strikes, you need immediate, reliable care right here in your own community. Local care means getting the help you need without the added stress of traveling to another city in the middle of an emergency.

What is considered a dental emergency?

Severe toothaches, knocked-out teeth, broken or chipped teeth, lost crowns or fillings, abscesses, or swelling that affects your ability to eat, speak, or breathe.

What should I do if my tooth is knocked out?

Handle it by the crown (not the root), gently rinse it, and keep it moist in milk or saliva. Bring it to your appointment immediately.

How can I relieve a severe toothache until my appointment?

Take an over-the-counter pain reliever and apply a cold compress. Avoid placing aspirin directly on your gums.

Do you accept my dental insurance plan?

Most insurance plans are accepted. Call ahead to confirm coverage and benefits.

What are your hours for emergency appointments?

We offer same-day and extended hours for urgent needs. Contact us to be connected to the right dentist, then contact their office to check availability.

What if my dental emergency happens after hours?

Many emergency dentists offer 24/7 availability or extended hours. If your emergency occurs late at night, check whether an emergency dentist is open nearby, or go to the ER if you have severe pain, swelling, or trauma.

Can you treat a cracked or chipped tooth?

Yes, our dentists can restore or repair damaged teeth to prevent further complications.

Will I need a follow-up appointment?

Some emergencies require additional visits for permanent treatment, such as crowns or root canals.

Do you offer same-day appointments?

Yes, our dentists prioritize same-day scheduling whenever possible.

How do I get the fastest care?

For the fastest care, call us first, and we’ll connect you with the right dentist in Pomona.

What happens if I lose a crown or filling?

Bring the crown or filling with you if possible. We’ll repair or replace it to restore your bite and comfort.
