The entire staff was super caring and took the time to make me feel comfortable during my visit. Both the hygienist and Dr. Dustin Wylde did a great job with me. I will be recommending this practice to family and friends who need a great dentist.

Please read this! I am 57 years old and have a lot of anxiety specific to Dentist. Unfortunately, the lack of my poor care of my teeth lead to very bad infections and cracked teeth. I finally had to bite the bullet and find a dentist as I had severe pain and a lot of infection. After googling a dentist, I found Advanced Dentistry I was by far overwhelmed with fear and fear of pain. I have to tell you they took such good care of me, and I realized how important teeth hygiene. I don't have a fear as much as Dr. Tyler was amazing and Natalie, I believe that is her name, I was so incredibly impressed. They were gentle continued to check on me made sure they checked with me every step of the way. As we know teeth hygiene if not taking care of lead to other issues. Now that I found this Dentist I will never neglect my teeth and feel safe finally being able to take care of my health. I really appreciate them, and I ask all of you who feel like me go no words can explain what a great job these Dr's and all the staff do. Have a great Thanksgiving holiday Advanced Dentistry and thank you I am pain free right now and owe it all to you.

The technology they use is amazing. More extraordinarily is the care and attention they gave me. They were kind supportive and did an excellent job in explaining all my options. Great team work and so very friendly. I would highly recommendnDR. Wilde and his staff. Gia , Tim and everyone were great. Especially for this chicken. Calmed my anxiety.

Why You Shouldn’t Wait to Schedule an Emergency Dentist Visit

Delaying dental care can turn a small issue into a serious one. Pain is your body’s way of signaling that something is wrong, and ignoring it often leads to bigger problems, such as infection or tooth loss. Promptly treating an emergency not only protects your health but also helps you avoid more complex and costly procedures in the future.

How Dental Emergencies Happen in Portage Park

Life in Portage Park is defined by its vibrant community and historic charm, from the sprawling green space of its namesake park to the peaceful atmosphere of Chopin Park. Whether you are spending a Saturday at the farmers market or walking your dog through the neighborhood’s famous bungalow belt, an active lifestyle can sometimes bring the unexpected. A sudden fall during a game on the tennis courts or a mishap while exploring the Six Corners shopping district can quickly lead to a broken tooth or intense tooth pain. When these moments occur, having a local partner means you can receive immediate attention right here in your community without the added stress of traveling to another city for relief.

What should I do if my tooth is knocked out?

Handle it by the crown (not the root), gently rinse it, and keep it moist in milk or saliva. Bring it to your appointment immediately.

How can I relieve a severe toothache until my appointment?

Take an over-the-counter pain reliever and apply a cold compress. Avoid placing aspirin directly on your gums.

Do you accept my dental insurance plan?

What are your hours for emergency appointments?

We offer same-day and extended hours for urgent needs. Contact us to be connected to the right dentist, then contact their office to check availability.

What if my dental emergency happens after hours?

Many emergency dentists offer 24/7 availability or extended hours. If your emergency occurs late at night, check whether an emergency dentist is open nearby, or go to the ER if you have severe pain, swelling, or trauma.

Can you treat a cracked or chipped tooth?

Yes, our dentists can restore or repair damaged teeth to prevent further complications.

Will I need a follow-up appointment?
