I had an outstanding experience at Dental Associates of Torrance! Dr. Amini and Arvi Cruzado (RDAEF2) both left an excellent impression on me. They are exceptionally friendly, caring, and patient, taking the time to ensure I felt comfortable and well-informed throughout my visit.nnMost importantly, their professional skill and attention to detail truly stand out — the quality of care and treatment I received was excellent. I felt completely reassured and confident in their expertise.nnA big thank-you as well to the entire team, including the friendly front desk staff and the evaluators, who made the whole process smooth and pleasant. The warm atmosphere and professionalism of everyone here make this dental office truly exceptional. Highly recommended!

Why You Shouldn’t Wait to Schedule an Emergency Dentist Visit

Delaying dental care can turn a small issue into a serious one. Pain is your body’s way of signaling that something is wrong, and ignoring it often leads to bigger problems, such as infection or tooth loss. Promptly treating an emergency not only protects your health but also helps you avoid more complex and costly procedures in the future.

How Dental Emergencies Happen in San Pedro

Life in San Pedro is defined by its rich maritime history and beautiful coastal scenery, whether you are exploring the tide pools at Cabrillo Beach, taking in the panoramic ocean views from the Korean Friendship Bell, or wandering the trails at Point Fermin Park. But an active lifestyle near the harbor can sometimes lead to unexpected moments. A sudden trip on a rugged path, a sports mishap during a game at the park, or an accident on the water can instantly result in a broken tooth or severe tooth pain. When a crisis like this strikes, you need immediate, reliable care right here in your own neighborhood. Local care means getting the relief you need without the added stress of traveling to another city while you are in pain.

How We Can Help San Pedro Residents Find Emergency Dental Care

Severe toothaches, knocked-out teeth, broken or chipped teeth, lost crowns or fillings, abscesses, or swelling that affects your ability to eat, speak, or breathe.

What should I do if my tooth is knocked out?

Handle it by the crown (not the root), gently rinse it, and keep it moist in milk or saliva. Bring it to your appointment immediately.

How can I relieve a severe toothache until my appointment?

Take an over-the-counter pain reliever and apply a cold compress. Avoid placing aspirin directly on your gums.

Do you accept my dental insurance plan?

Most insurance plans are accepted. Call ahead to confirm coverage and benefits.

What are your hours for emergency appointments?

We offer same-day and extended hours for urgent needs. Contact us to be connected to the right dentist, then contact their office to check availability.

What if my dental emergency happens after hours?

Many emergency dentists offer 24/7 availability or extended hours. If your emergency occurs late at night, check whether an emergency dentist is open nearby, or go to the ER if you have severe pain, swelling, or trauma.

Can you treat a cracked or chipped tooth?

Yes, our dentists can restore or repair damaged teeth to prevent further complications.

Will I need a follow-up appointment?

Some emergencies require additional visits for permanent treatment, such as crowns or root canals.

Do you offer same-day appointments?

How do I get the fastest care?

For the fastest care, call us first, and we’ll connect you with the right dentist in San Pedro.
