I’ve had such a great experience at this office. The staff is always super friendly and helpful from the moment you walk in, and they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable during procedures. Dr. Koby is especially wonderful. She is very welcoming, gentle, and takes the time to explain everything so you never feel nervous or rushed. You can tell they truly care about their patients. Highly recommend!

Went in for badly cracked tooth on 1st visit. They clearly explained options and crowned same day(no replacement!) for a reasonable cost. Entire staff was great. Family Dental Care is the right choice for area residents.

Best Hygienists ever. I had Sarah this time and she was amazing, caring and very professional , so is the sweet Emily, always kind and very patience with afraid Pts like me, I had both in the past. Definitely coming back and recommend them to all my family and friends.

Incredible and knowledgeable team! From the front desk to the tech assistant, just amazing! My hygienist was amazing and friendly! I had to have a tooth extracted due to an abscess and they were able to fit me in the next day. I was a bit skeptical about having the dentist do it instead of the oral surgeon I’m familiar with but everything went incredible well. The dentist was so caring and made sure I was comfortable and didn’t feel any pain. Highly recommend!

Great team, friendly, and always an easy appointment/experience! Had two appointments yesterday for a small filling and teeth cleaning, everything went great.

Why You Shouldn’t Wait to Schedule an Emergency Dentist Visit

Delaying dental care can turn a small issue into a serious one. Pain is your body’s way of signaling that something is wrong, and ignoring it often leads to bigger problems, such as infection or tooth loss. Promptly treating an emergency not only protects your health but also helps you avoid more complex and costly procedures in the future.

How Dental Emergencies Happen in Venice

Life in Venice is defined by its beautiful Gulf Coast setting and an active, outdoor lifestyle. You might spend your mornings hunting for prehistoric shark teeth at Venice Beach, cycling the scenic Venetian Waterway Park, or enjoying a community event at Centennial Park in the heart of our historic downtown. While this coastal life is vibrant, the unexpected can happen. A sudden fall on a bike trail, an accident while exploring the jetty, or a mishap during a sports game can result in a broken tooth or severe tooth pain. When a dental crisis strikes, you need immediate care right here in your own community. Local care means receiving the relief you deserve without the added stress of traveling to another city during an emergency.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is considered a dental emergency?

Severe toothaches, knocked-out teeth, broken or chipped teeth, lost crowns or fillings, abscesses, or swelling that affects your ability to eat, speak, or breathe.

What should I do if my tooth is knocked out?

Handle it by the crown (not the root), gently rinse it, and keep it moist in milk or saliva. Bring it to your appointment immediately.

How can I relieve a severe toothache until my appointment?

Take an over-the-counter pain reliever and apply a cold compress. Avoid placing aspirin directly on your gums.

Do you accept my dental insurance plan?

Most insurance plans are accepted. Call ahead to confirm coverage and benefits.

What are your hours for emergency appointments?

We offer same-day and extended hours for urgent needs. Contact us to be connected to the right dentist, then contact their office to check availability.

What if my dental emergency happens after hours?

Many emergency dentists offer 24/7 availability or extended hours. If your emergency occurs late at night, check whether an emergency dentist is open nearby, or go to the ER if you have severe pain, swelling, or trauma.

Can you treat a cracked or chipped tooth?

Yes, our dentists can restore or repair damaged teeth to prevent further complications.

Will I need a follow-up appointment?

Some emergencies require additional visits for permanent treatment, such as crowns or root canals.

Do you offer same-day appointments?

Yes, our dentists prioritize same-day scheduling whenever possible.

How do I get the fastest care?

For the fastest care, call us first, and we’ll connect you with the right dentist in Venice.

What happens if I lose a crown or filling?

Bring the crown or filling with you if possible. We’ll repair or replace it to restore your bite and comfort.
