I'm autistic and was extremely nervous about getting my first wisdom tooth extracted, but the doctors at Aspen were extremely helpful. They allowed me to wear a weighted X-ray vest and listen to music and talked me through the whole process. The doctor got it out in less than a minute probably, and overall was very friendly and comforting. I would highly recommend Aspen Dental to anyone who has dental anxiety. They know how to make you feel safe and cared for and genuinely care about their patients. I'd rate more stars if I could!

This is a wonderful location with a fantastic team. Jinal, Angel, and Dr. Davis were absolutely incredible and I can’t thank them enough! They were extremely informative, kind, and so helpful! I was terrified, haven’t been to the dentist in years. Their amazing care made things less scary for me, and kindness of the front desk made it a comforting environment. The financial assistance employee also was my hero with teaching me so much. She gave great details for paying to be less overwhelming.

Dr. Schafer wasnfriendly, efficient, and professionalnthroughout my procedure. Plus, ngetting in for adjustments wasnbreeze; Teresa was awesome at fixingnall those sore spots so I could walknout smiling again. I love the entirenstaff at the Merrillville location and would definitelynrecommend them to anyone!

I had such a great experience at Aspen Dental. From the moment I walked in, the entire staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The front desk, the nurses, and even the business manager all made the process feel easy and stress-free. What really stood out to me was how affordable everything was. I got more done for $30 here than I did the day before at another dentist that charged me $107 just for a check-up, which honestly surprised me in the best way.nnI definitely have to shout out Angel, Marianna, and Jinal. They are genuinely some of the sweetest people I’ve met. They were so attentive, interactive, and made me feel comfortable the entire time. As someone who doesn’t love going to the dentist or dealing with a bunch of different personalities, they really made this experience enjoyable for me.nnAnd now for Dr. P… he’s honestly a character in the best way possible. He kept joking with me the whole time, which actually helped distract me from the fact that I was getting a very stubborn molar removed. He made sure I was fully numb and handled everything well, and I’m just happy that tooth is finally gone and no longer stabbing my tongue.nnI’ll be real, it wasn’t the easiest moment, I definitely had a few tears (more to keep myself from fully crying), and yes, it does hurt a bit Dr. P, not all of us have your pain tolerance! But overall, it was all love and a surprisingly positive experience. Hopefully my reactions didn’t scare anyone off haha.nnThank you again to the whole team. I’ll definitely be back next month and I’m hoping to see the same amazing staff!

Why You Shouldn’t Wait to Schedule an Emergency Dentist Visit

Delaying dental care can turn a small issue into a serious one. Pain is your body’s way of signaling that something is wrong, and ignoring it often leads to bigger problems, such as infection or tooth loss. Promptly treating an emergency not only protects your health but also helps you avoid more complex and costly procedures in the future.
