I have taken my mom for about 5 visits since October now and the staff is always super friendly, efficient and great at what you do. Every client that walks in the door is known and greeted by name. Dr. Ashraf and his assistant Thanh did a fantastic job with my mom's oral surgery. We drive all the way from Avondale to this office, because it's the best.

I had an emergency, with a cracked tooth and they were the absolute best to deal with. They got me in the same day, with a treatment plan and no hassle. I did have a long wait time but that was expected for last minute, they made sure to reassure I would be helped asap. The Drs and the staff were incredible and very friendly. This will be my permanent dental office for any needs.

Why You Shouldn’t Wait to Schedule an Emergency Dentist Visit

Delaying dental care can turn a small issue into a serious one. Pain is your body’s way of signaling that something is wrong, and ignoring it often leads to bigger problems, such as infection or tooth loss. Promptly treating an emergency not only protects your health but also helps you avoid more complex and costly procedures in the future.

How Dental Emergencies Happen in Peoria

Life in Peoria is defined by a love for the outdoors and an active lifestyle, whether you are spending a Saturday morning at Rio Vista Community Park, enjoying a family outing at Pioneer Community Park, or taking in the desert beauty at Lake Pleasant Regional Park. However, an active routine can sometimes lead to the unexpected. A slip while hiking a scenic trail, a sports accident during a game at the Peoria Sports Complex, or a sudden fall can result in a broken tooth or severe, throbbing tooth pain. When a crisis like this strikes, you need immediate, reliable care right here in your own community. The last thing you should face is the added stress of traveling to another city when you need local help most.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is considered a dental emergency?

Severe toothaches, knocked-out teeth, broken or chipped teeth, lost crowns or fillings, abscesses, or swelling that affects your ability to eat, speak, or breathe.

What should I do if my tooth is knocked out?

Handle it by the crown (not the root), gently rinse it, and keep it moist in milk or saliva. Bring it to your appointment immediately.

How can I relieve a severe toothache until my appointment?

Take an over-the-counter pain reliever and apply a cold compress. Avoid placing aspirin directly on your gums.

Do you accept my dental insurance plan?

Most insurance plans are accepted. Call ahead to confirm coverage and benefits.

What are your hours for emergency appointments?

We offer same-day and extended hours for urgent needs. Contact us to be connected to the right dentist, then contact their office to check availability.

What if my dental emergency happens after hours?

Many emergency dentists offer 24/7 availability or extended hours. If your emergency occurs late at night, check whether an emergency dentist is open nearby, or go to the ER if you have severe pain, swelling, or trauma.

Can you treat a cracked or chipped tooth?

Yes, our dentists can restore or repair damaged teeth to prevent further complications.

Will I need a follow-up appointment?

Some emergencies require additional visits for permanent treatment, such as crowns or root canals.

Do you offer same-day appointments?

Yes, our dentists prioritize same-day scheduling whenever possible.

How do I get the fastest care?

For the fastest care, call us first, and we’ll connect you with the right dentist in Peoria.

What happens if I lose a crown or filling?

Bring the crown or filling with you if possible. We’ll repair or replace it to restore your bite and comfort.
